This orange-coloured fruit is rich in minerals, especially potassium, but also magnesium, phosphorus, iron, calcium, and fluorine. It also provides vitamin A (beta carotene), an important antioxidant.

Apricots ripen from June through to late August, weigh 50–80g, and come in various shapes, depending on the variety. The area of production chosen for this fruit is the Aso Valley, which has watched over its authentic quality more than any other in the Marche region.
