Directions

Whisk the egg yolks with sugar in a bowl until plump and fluffy. Melt the butter in a double boiler and add it to the mixture, followed by the flour. Whisk egg whites until stiff and add to the mixture, with a pinch of salt.

Lastly, add the baking powder and mix well. Wash the plums, cut into pieces and add to the mixture. Pour into a greased, floured cake tin and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in preheated oven at 180 °C for 50 minutes. Allow to cool and serve.
