Directions

In a large skillet sauté the onion in the oil until just brown; remove and throw away. Add the pieces of celery, dipped in flour, add the tomato paste, season with salt and pepper, cover and finish cooking on a low flame.

Serve piping hot, as a side dish.

  • 1 kg celery stalks, washed, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste diluted in a glass of lukewarm water
  • 5 cl evo oil
  • Flour
  • Salt and pepper
